South Kensington-trip with Georgina today resulted in 4 hours at V&A museum, too much good food, and far too many photos to share with you. The great thing about going out with another blogger is the understanding of  the need to take photos everywhere and of everything. We took a lot of fashion/outfit photos of each other inside V&A and outside around in South Kensington. I had never been to South Kensington before, and I was surprised by the beauty of this part of London! The gorgeous-looking white houses, all of the small cute cafés and restaurants, and of course all the great museums. We spent so much time walking through V&A, and to be honest I think we did not even see half of it. Now I have a load of photos to look through and edit, before planning a great deal of new posts!

Le Pain is where we ended up for lunch today, and it was such a great lunch spot! We came in the middle of lunch time, and had to queue for a bit to get a sit, and luckily we ended up with a perfect (blogger) spot; we got our own little corner by the window. We ended up sharing a organic Bread Basket with Jams and Spreads, in addition to getting a Pain Au Chocolate and a Belgian Hot Chocolate each. Never too much chocolate, but far too much food! The hot chocolate was served in a “completely” different way then what we usually get at cafés; we got a cup (/bowl) of steamed milk, and a small jug of melted chocolate. As you can see at the photos above, we had so much fun “making our own hot chocolate”.

Camden was really fun yesterday, but it is sooooo crowded! I love walking around the same busy tourist places as everyone else, and yesterday we had a really tourist kind of day, but I get so exhausted by all the people everywhere. After a few trips up and down the street and into a few of the shops, we walked down one of the side roads with lots of different restaurants, for some lunch. Even though we were only a few meters away from the busy street, we almost had the restaurant all to ourselves, and it felt so nice and relaxing!

Pizza lunch, of course. This time it was “authentic napoletanian pizza” with spicy salami, yum! (As you might know by now) I love trying out new pizzas here in London, especially italian ones, and this one did really not disappoint me. “Rossopomodoro” has 8 restaurants around in the London area, including locations in Camden, Covent Garden, Oxford Street and Chelsea. They describe themselves as “the best pizza on this side of Naples”, and I have to say it really was a truly delicious, authentic italian, pizza. The pizza is made with sour dough, just like Franco Manca, which makes it extra good in my opinion (/ in my taste). With a huge beautiful venue, great restaurant locations and good prices, I really recommend this restaurant if you would like a quick (we got our food after 5 minutes, if you do not get it in 30 minutes it is free!), affordable and delicious lunch/dinner at a restaurant, for instance the next time you are in Camden.

A good vintage store, with great, cheap and unique products – isn’t that what we all want to find? I love finding newVintage stores to check out here in London, and last sunday I found one I really liked! “Rokit True Vintage” has stores at 4 different locations around in London,  and also an online store where you can have a look. I visited the store in Camden, a cute and quite small two story shop with a lot of great vintage products. I fell in love with the wall filled with bags in the end of the store, where I found my new Coach bag. In addition to a lot of pretty designer bags, they had some beautiful scarfs, jewelry, some shoes, and of course lots of clothes. The store I visited in Camden was not that big, but I really want to visit the location they have in Covent Garden soon, which looks a lot bigger. I really recommend that you take a good look around at the walls and shelves when you are there, since they used a lot of their best/prettiest products as decoration as well, don’t miss out – you can buy it! (Ps: on wednesday you get 20% student discount both in store and online, every other day it’s 10%)

“If you’re looking for retro clothing that screams individualism and makes you stand out from the crowd, visit one of our fabulous boutique stores. We have four vintage shops in London in simple-to-find locations so getting your vintage fix is easy.” – Rokit True Vintage

Camden Town, a really popular place here in London, that you might have visited already. If you haven’t though, I really recommend it! I feel like a lot of tourists go there looking for good vintage/ second hand stores, and to be honest I would not recommend Camden as the best place for this. Of course there are a few good second hand shops here as well – it is just that there are many better places for that. What I do recommend you check out in Camden though, is the markets! Markets filled with people, delicious food, home made crafts, clothes and so much more. At the photos you can see a few glimpses of what you can except finding there. Camden also has a few stores like Urban Outfitters, American Apparel and so on down the street, but except for that there are a lot of souvenir shops for tourist, since Camden is crowded with tourists. Other than that I recommend that you bring your camera with you here, because there is so many beautiful details on the houses and streets in general + the beautiful river that you can walk down to Regents Park (and London Zoo) for a really nice walk!

After a trip to Camden at sunday, I went to beautiful Green Park and sat down in the grass with some snacks from Pret A Manger, so relaxing! Green Park is an underground station on Victoria Line, which we usually just go of to change to another line.  But after going out there and looking around for a bit, I really fell in love with the beautiful park right next to Ritz Hotell and so many other gorgeous buildings. I chose to walk down to Victoria Station instead of taking one stop at the underground, and got a really nice walk, passing both Buckingham Palace and seeing a bit of London Eye. I love walking around in this city, there is so much to look at and take photos of everywhere!

At Simon’s birthday we spent the day in London Central, with some shopping and just enjoying the day there. We had already planned our dinner in the evening at Franco Manca, but we had not thought about something for lunch. When we started getting hungry, I really craved some fast and easy hot dogs, and thought about just buying some at a food truck. But then we walked past “Jamie Olivers Takeout”, and we just had to try it! We ordered a hotdog and a coke each, and got them within a few minutes. The price did not seem too cheap at first, but when we got the hot dogs we really got a lot of food for what we paid. It was fast, delicious and cheap, a great alternative to a food truck!

At our day trip to Brighton a few weeks ago, we ate lunch at an amazing hamburger restaurant; Lucky Beach. The road down the beach, towards the Brighton Pier, is full of different restaurants and small shops, so there is really a lot to pick from when it comes to food. To be honest we ended up on this particular restaurant because we are both suckers for advertising and reviews; Lucky Beach is actually voted Top 3 Hamburger Place in the UK! We ended up at a small cute table outside, with a great view of the beach and pier. We had one hamburger with chips each, and just a pepsi for drinks. I always hate admitting that I am really not a burger person, I never order burgers when I am out at a restaurant, but this one I just had to try, and I loved it! The size was perfect (I hate when the burgers are so big that I end up eating less than half of it!) and both the chips, the burger, the bun and everything tasted so fresh and home made, and I can understand why they are voted top 3 in the UK. A really good tips for lunch/ dinner if you’re going to Brighton!

It was so much fun being a part of Anne Marthe Widvey‘s workshop here in London, and I got so many beautiful pictures from it. It has been a while since I’ve taken photos in a studio, so that was fun, especially since the studio had so many different beautiful backgrounds and lights to work with. I got to wear some beautiful dresses from SheInside, and talented and sweet Natalia Fadejeva did my hair and make up.

Last saturday was Simon’s birthday, and we celebrated at the amazing restaurant “Franco Manca”. Since we are both pizza-lovers, we really wanted to try out some good London pizza, and after googling a bit we really wanted to try the amazing-looking pizza at Franco Manca. Franco Manca is an Italian pizza chain, with 10 restaurants around the London-area, serving sourdough pizzas. We went to the one at Tottenham Court Road, and walked from Oxford Circus after a bit of shopping. It wasn’t to hard to spot when we got there, since there was a long queue outside the restaurant. After waiting in it for about 10-15 minute (worth it!), we got in and got to order some pizzas as well.

When we got a table we quickly read through the menu, and decided what to order. I ordered the Number 2, a classic Margarita, and Simon ordered one with some delicious ham on as well. Ordering at Franco Manca is quite easy, as there is not “too much to choose from”. You have a few different pizzas and pizza toppings, including todays specials. Other than that you can choose from some salads, a few starters and drinks, and lastly desserts. To drink I had a glass of wine and Simon had a beer, both of which Franco Manca’s original, as everything else in the restaurant. I also asked the waiter (after we had ordered, so Simon wouldn’t hear it) if it would be possible to make Simon’s pizza heart-shaped, which was no problem at all. A nice little surprise on his birthday! We both loved our pizzas, drinks and dessert (ice cream), and I really can’t wait to go back. I recommend it to everyone to try one of the Franco Manca restaurants, you will not regret it!

It’s been two weeks since I was modelling for Anne Marthe Widvey‘s Photography Workshop here in London. I was lucky enough to join them at Recessions Studios. Taleneted Natalia Fadejeva did my makeup and hair, and I also got to wear some beautiful dresses from SheInside (Sponsored), which I got to take home with me afterwards. Time flew by while in the studio, and it was such a fun experience to be a part of. The team was amazing to work with, and I can not wait to show the result photos. But before that, I wanted to share some Behind the Scenes photos with you guys:
