A few weeks ago I finally replaced my old hardly-working iPhone 5 for a new iPhone 6s in rose gold. If I can say so myself, I have always been really good at taking care of my phones (the only thing I seem to loose in life are oyster cards…). But when my new baby arrived I knew I needed to invest in a new case which would protect it. I was therefore so happy when CaseApp contacted me for a collaboration! They let me design my own iPhone case* and Mac Skin*, which I desperately needed anyway. But that was not all! They also gave me a little something for you guys, which you will find at the end of this post. Interested? Then just keep reading!

With so many cases and skins on the market these days, it’s not always easy to choose what to get, neither for yourself nor gifts to friends/family. But one thing that will always be a winner is when you have the ability to design the case for yourself. At CaseApp you can upload your own photo and make a unique case that no one else has! I think this is a great idea for a christmas gift, a really personalised case/ skin with your own photo. You can either choose to upload any of your own personal photos, or you can do like me and search around at tumblr for those perfect inspirational images. If you still can’t seem to find that perfect design, CaseApp has a lot of designs of their own which you can choose from!

I went for a tropical picture with all of my favourite colours for my mac skin, which makes me wanna travel even more than usual. At first I thought about matching my phone case and mac skin, but as the colours didn’t really go too well on my rose-gold iPhone, I decided to go for something simple and white instead. I love everything that has to do with skulls, so this case is really me, while still being simple and pretty. None of the photos are any out of the ordinary, but I would never find precisely either of these cases in any store!

Now to the fun part…

Since christmas is coming up and I found this to be such a great gift-idea, CaseApp wanted to give my lovely readers a discount code for your order! The skins and cases are not expensive in the first place, but with my code you can get 20% of your order! Just use this discount code when you check out:

(valid until the 10th of December)

Desember)

What do you think about the cases? Do you want to buy some of your own?

We’ve all had the case of Monday blues in our life, and this week it hit me hard time. It was shoot day with my favourite girlies (more on that in a later post), but I was not prepared for it at all. My skin was breaking up, my hair was a mess, I was running late and I had no food to eat for breakfast. In addition to all of this, it was the coldest day I had experienced in a long time, so I had no idea what to wear for the occasion. After raiding my closet, leaving most of it on the floor/ bed, I finally put together a simple and warm look, embracing the blues of this Monday. You wanna see it?

Okay so it might look like a really simple look, but truth is I haven’t worn anything like this in ages. I used to love the “shirt underneath a jumper” style a few years ago, back when my closet mostly consisted of shirts and skirts. Then I somehow grew tired of it and therefore stopped wearing it. It was not until this Monday I realised how effortlessly chic it looked, while also keeping me nice and warm. The two layers, combined with my coat and big scarf of course, gives just enough air for breathing while keeping me covered. The crisp white shirt also helps to break up my two blue items (jumper and jeans), which wouldn’t have looked as nice together by themselves. I liked the idea of mixing different shades of blue (as I don’t own a single pair of black jeans at the moment…), but I brought in the white shirt and camel coat to contrast and break up. Together with the golden detailing on my bag, boots and amazing jewellery, the look turned out so effortless and comfortable, while being city-chic. Neither my typical go-to outfit combination nor colours, but a nice mix to my normal everyday dresses and skirts! What do you think?

I honestly do not think there is anything I love more in life than chocolate. Combine that with a relaxing hot bath, and you basically have it all right? Let me introduce to you a new favourite of mine, which will beat any Lush-bathbomb you have ever been thinking about getting:

Joik White Chocolate Bath Truffles* is the classiest and most exclusive bath “bombs” I have ever tried. They come in a cute chocolate-bar format which gives you six individual truffles, perfect for six relaxing baths. Pour yourself a glass of wine, bring your favourite book and put on some relaxing music, and I will guarantee you the greatest and most relaxing bath ever. The truffles melt and give a slight fizz, releasing the smell of white chocolate. Your skin will be left feeling smooth, moisturised and velvety. If that sounds like something for you, or a gift to a great friend who has it all and deserves some indulgence, you can find them here.

Since a lot of you seemed to enjoy my Drugstore Beauty Lifesavers post, I thought I would share some more of my everyday beauty favourites. Moving away from drugstore, some of these products are a bit more pricey, but they all make a perfect splurge christmas gift (either for yourself or someone else). If you are in the need of some inspiration of what to wish for or what to give a fellow beauty-lover this Christmas, just keep reading:

Beauty Favourites

Christian Dior DiorShow Maximizer, £25 at Boots

If you have read my blog for a while you have most probably heard me mention this favourite before, and if not then you should definitely take note of it now. I always like to switch up and try out new makeup brands and products in my makeup routine, but the one product I never change out is this one. I first tried it a few years ago, back when I was obsessed with all the Dior mascaras and thought I would try out this primer as well. Best. Decision. Ever. Now I seriously can not live without this product, and I use it every single day I use mascara (which is almost every day). A great primer which gives you longer and fuller defined lashes. It is of course “made for” the DiorShow series, but you can use this primer under any mascara you like.

LiLash Eyelash Serum*, £53.93 at LiLash

While talking about lashes, I can not go without mentioning my all-time favourite lash product. The LiLash eyelash serum is one of the best on the market, and it is such a great gift-idea for anyone who wants some longer and fuller lashes. If you have not already, you can read my full review of it (and the LiBrow) and see for yourself the results it gave me: longer and fuller lashes than I have ever seen before. I have already gotten friends and family hooked on this, so believe me when I say this product is great! And btw: If you buy LiLash now, you will get the exclusive gift set with three Eye Silk Shadows as well, the greatest christmas gift ever.

BH Cosmetics Carli Bybel Eyeshadow and Highlighter Palette, $12.50 at BHCosmetics

Carli Bybel is my beauty guru and youtube favourite, so when she launched her own makeup palette I had to order it immediately. I spent the whole launch-day refreshing the BH Cosmetics website, as the server kept crashing due to overload, and by the end of the day my order finally went through. Around a week later it was finally in my hands, and since then I have been using it every single day. The palette is (in my opinion) as close to perfection as possible, with a great variety of neutral colours, both matte and shimmery, that fits every skin and eye colour. It is great for both everyday use and going out, the colours are beautiful and the pigmentation is amazing. But the best part is that it is so incredibly cheap! It is sadly sold out at the moment, but be sure to sign up for an email alert because a better best friend/ sister gift than this is hard to find!

Mac Prep+Prime Fix+, £17 at Mac

I have always been a fan of MAC lipsticks, but ever since MAC finally opened a store in my hometown in Norway I have been trying out quite a few new products. Currently both my primer and foundation is MAC, but my favourite product of them all is the Fix+ spray. It is such a simple and lightweight finishing spray that leaves my skin smooth and hydrated and makeup flawless and enhanced.

Giorgio Armani Sí*, £47 at Boots

Lastly, something I rarely mention on the blog: my favourite perfume at the moment. I got the Giorgio Armani Sí Perfume when I attended the House of Fraser Christmas Press Day, and I immediately fell in love with the smell of it. It is bold, rich and classy and would be a perfect gift for a sister, best friend, girlfriend or mother.

Last week me and Georgina took a trip to Feels Studios in Shoreditch to shoot some scenes for a uni assessment. But as we had a proper studio at our hands we could not miss the opportunity to shoot some outfit photos as well.

I don’t normally like shooting in studios, but for this outfit I made an exception. Feels has the most beautiful and light studio ever, where we played around for a few hours. I dressed comfortably chic for the occasion (when do I not?), in simple and classic white and grey. The skirt is a definite favourite this season with that goes with everything and perfectly colour match my shoes. Even though the lace-up trend never really hit me hard, I could not resist this simple shirt when I saw it at Primark. Such a simple outfit, and oh so affordable!

If you have followed my blog for a while, you will know all about my love for Lilash. A few weeks ago I got a rather exciting email from them, as one of their top 20 beauty influencers, wondering if I was interested in trying out their newest beauty launch before it was released on the market. I of course immediately replied with a big YES, and today I can finally share the all new products with new. Let me introduce Lilash Eye Silk {sponsored}:

Lilash Eye Silk

Lilash is known for their Eyelash and Eyebrow serums, which helps your lashes and brows grow longer and fuller. But now they have decided to expand their business and start selling some amazing liquid eyeshadows. Lilash Eye Silk are long-lasting, non-creasing, highly pigmented shades which definitely give you what they promise. When you buy their all new Eye Silk set you get three different shades of their Eye Silk, pluss a Lilash Eyelash Serum to help grow those lashes. Did anyone say perfect Christmas gift?

Lilash Eye Silk

The three shades they have chosen are bold, big and beautiful. Lilac (left) is a bold and bright purple colour which might look a bit intimidating at first glance. But by blending and mixing this colour in, you can create some gorgeous day and night looks. Beach Bronze (middle) is definitely my favourite colour; a warm and rich brown which suits every eye colour perfectly. Gunmetal is also a beautiful shade, a deep black shimmer with green and lilac undertones. If you want a quick and easy smokey eye, this is the shade to go for.

I decided to create two quick and beautiful glam fall looks for you, which you can easily recreate for yourself:

Bronzed Vamp
Beach Bronze + Berry Lips

Lilash Eye Silk Lilash Eye Silk

This is my absolute favourite look using Lilash Eye Silk and a simple go-to Autumn/ Winter look for every occasion. I applied the Beach Bronze Eye Silk all over my lid using the applicator, then smudged it out a bit with a blending brush. I kept on adding more and blending until I achieved the result I wanted. I also smudged some Beach Bronze on my lower lash line. I added a tiny line of Lilac over my lash line for a pop of colour. Plenty of mascara, bronzer and highlight for that glam look. On my lips I used MACs Diva, a deep cool berry tone. The Beach Bronze shade is really versatile and goes with right about any lip colour, but for fall I love the combination of bronze + deep lips.

Dramatic Smokey Glam
Gunmetal + Red lips

Lilash Eye Silk Lilash Eye Silk

I normally don’t go for a smokey eye that often, mostly due to the fact that when I use powder eyeshadow it gets so messy and patchy. But as soon as I swatched the Gunmetal shade, I knew I wanted to create a dark dramatic smokey eye. I simply applied it all over my lid using the applicator and then smudged it out using a blending brush. I also applied a line on my lower lash line, really framing my eye. I added tons of mascara and some more bronzer to make my face look not-so-pale. To complete the dramatic look I went for a mate red lip, using MACs Cherry lipliner and Ruby Woo lipstick.

What do you think about the looks and of course the shadows themselves? Any new Christmas wishes?
(The product is not up for sale yet but it goes live today so I will update the post with the link as soon as possible)
