Bora Aksu A/W 15

Bora Aksu was undoubtedly my favorite show during LFW A/W 15, and even though it is more than a week since the actual show, I still had to make a (delayed) post about it. From start to end, this catwalk and collection was perfect in every way, and such an amazing experience. The collection is an ode to romance and pursuit of true love, inspired by the songbird in Oscar Wilde’s The Nightingale. The runway was a bird cage, from which one beautiful model after another came out and showed the amazing outfits. There were different parts to the show, with specific themes and color schemes, but common for all of the outfits was the feminine and delicate style. There were a lot of amazing dresses, pencil skirts and jackets, with florals, lace, layers and other incredible details. The models, styling, hair and make up was also so romantic and feminine, but still edgy and strong, a perfect combination. I fell in love with many of the pieces, and especially wouldn’t mind having some of these favorites underneath in my closet:
